Hope Africa University in Bujumbura, Burundi, includes the Frank Ogden School of Medicine, Kibuye Hope Hospital, an extension of campus of the university in the interior of the country, and the radio station, Voice of Hope, whose broadcasts cover about 80% of the country. Revenues are derived principally from contributions.

Hope Africa University is rapidly assuming a prominent place in regional higher education. The University is a member of the Inter-University Council for East Africa and a founding member of the Inter-University Network of the Great Lakes of Africa. All programs are accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Government of Burundi. The student body now numbers over 4,000 with students from eight African countries and Haiti.
