The Van Norman Clinic is a recent project of Hope Africa University, with construction completed and it’s first unit dedicated in February 2012.
Once fully equipped, the Van Norman Clinic will provide medical services ranging from emergency and urgent care to short term obstetrics. It will also be used for clinical training for nursing, pre-med and medical students from Hope Africa University.
The following is the text of a plaque to be displayed in the clinic, in English and French:
The Van Norman Clinic represents the generous financial contributions of Christian philanthropists, Ian and Alice Van Norman, members of the Free Methodist Church in Canada and friends of Hope Africa University. The Van Normans have shown their large spirit of compassion by their participation in building medical facilities in various parts of the world.
La Clinique Van Norman représente la contribution financière de philanthropes chrétiens, Ian and Alice Van Norman, membres de l’Eglise Méthodiste Libre au Canada et amis de l’Université Espoir d’Afrique.
