HAU is growing. Do we say that in every newsletter? Part of the University’s goal, and the goal of the Burundi Free Methodist Church, is to have an HAU campus presence in the five Free Methodist Church districts in Burundi. The university partners with the church to improve the lives of the people of Burundi and to evangelize. The latest branch campus of HAU opened in February in Chibtoke Province, two hours from Bujumbura. The newly built facility is a one-story classroom building with five classrooms, faculty and administrative offices, a small library, and a computer lab. The campus will focus on nursing and other programs needed by people in the area. The church donated the land for the building, and the campus is adjacent to one of the district's Free Methodist churches.
